Annapurna Base Camp Trek is one of the most popular trekking routes in Nepal and also in the worlds. Annapurna Base Camp Trek has been named as one of the best trekking routes in the world and it is an international treasure. Besides the exhilarating trail, Annapurna Base Camp Trek brings with it the opportunity to behold the majestic views of the Annapurna mountain range including Mount Annapurna, Machhapuchre, Dhaulagairi and many other peaks. Annapurna Base Camp Trek is near from Pokhara and the trek starts from the beautiful city of Pokhara. Annapurna Base Camp lies on the western foothills of the Himalayas in the northern part of western Nepal. The most appropriate time for Annapurna Base Camp Trek is from September to November and from March to May. If you are planning your trek apart from that season you will miss the scenic beauty over there. When you set your vacation for Annapurna Base Camp Trek you truly feel the custom and tradition of native people. Outline Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival to TIA, Kathmandu, Nepal

Day 2 : Transfer from Kathmandu to Pokhara – (approx. 6 hrs drive)

Day 3 : Drive from Pokhara (820m) to Nayapul (1070m). Start your trek from Nayapul to Ulleri (1960m) – (approx. 2 hrs drives & 5 hrs treks)

Day 4 : Trek from Ulleri (1960m) to Ghorepani (2874m) – (5 hrs)

Day 5 : Trek from Ghorepani (2874m) passing Poon Hill (3210m) to Tadapani (2520m) – (7 hrs)

Day 6 : Continue from Tadapani (2520m) to Chomrong (2170m) – (6 hrs)

Day 7 : Trek Chomrong (2170m) to Dovan (2600m) – (6.5 hrs)

Day 8 : Resume your journey from Dovan (2600m) to Deurali (3200m) – (4 hrs)

Day 9 : Trek from Deurali (3200m) passing Machhapuchre Base Camp (3700m) to Annapurna Base Camp (4130m) 6 hrs

Day 10 : Trek down from Annapurna Base Camp (4130m) to Bamboo (2310m) – (6.5 hrs)

Day 11 : Continue from Bamboo (2310m) to Jhinu Danda (1760m) – (5 hrs)

Day 12 : Trek from Jhinu Danda (1760m) to Sihuwai. Then drive from Sihuwai to Pokhara.- (4 hrs trek & 2 hrs drive)

Day 13 : Return to Kathmandu from Pokhara by land – (6 hrs drive)

Day 14 : Departure

Day 1 : Arrival to TIA, Kathmandu, Nepal

Welcome to Nepal, the Land of the Himalayas! You will be guided to the hotel by a Great Nepal representative once you arrive at the airport. You will have the rest of the day to do whatever you wish to do: get some sleep, stroll around or party hard. Well, do whatever that suits you. Later, you will participate in a gathering of other trekkers and guides and also be handed over the equipment necessary for the trek.

Day 2 : Transfer from Kathmandu to Pokhara – (approx. 6 hrs drive)

After your breakfast you will be driving for almost six hours to reach the tourist hub of Nepal, the land of Fewa lake Pokhara. After check into hotel you are free for the day to relax and prepare yourself for the trek starting tomorrow. You can boat in the famous Fewa Lake; roam around the Lakeside Street which has many restaurants, bars, pubs and many more as per your interest.

Day 3 : Drive from Pokhara (820m) to Nayapul (1070m). Start your trek from Nayapul to Ulleri (1960m) – (approx. 2 hrs drives & 5 hrs treks)

You will be driving for almost two hours to Nayapul from your trek is going to start. In almost 5 hours of trek you will be passing by small villages, tea houses, rivers and come to see the local lives. Crossing the suspension bridge at Tikhedhunga the hike is little steep up crossing the stone staircases. You can see the Mt. Annapurna (south) when you reach the hill top and the finally reach to your destination for the day Ulleri a small village for rest.

Day 4 : Trek from Ulleri (1960m) to Ghorepani (2874m) – (5 hrs)

In the spring this route is covered with Rhododendrons flowers. Snow capped mountains will follow your eyes and you might can see different species of birds. After trek for five hours you will be spending your night at Ghorepani.

Day 5 : Trek from Ghorepani (2874m) passing Poon Hill (3210m) to Tadapani (2520m) – (7 hrs)

To enjoy and witness the famous sunrise at Poon Hill you will be starting you trek early today to reach Poon hill which is around one hour up from Ghorepani. After enjoying the sunrise and mesmerizing views of wide range of Himalayas you will be back to Ghorepani for breakfast and get your things from the lodge and move towards the next destination i:e Tadapani it will take around 5 hours and more.

Day 6 : Continue from Tadapani (2520m) to Chomrong (2170m) – (6 hrs)

Passing through the Magar & Gurung villages and dense forest with the view of snow capped Himalayas you will follow the banks of Modi Khola to reach Chomrong village from where you can see the best view of Mt. Annapurna and Mt. Fishtail.

Day 7 : Trek Chomrong (2170m) to Dovan (2600m) – (6.5 hrs)

You will start your trek going decent steep down to Chomrong khola. From here starts the toughest part of ABC trek. The forest will get denser as the trek getting difficult. Passing through the forest you might encounter different wild animals.

Day 8 : Resume your journey from Dovan (2600m) to Deurali (3200m) – (4 hrs)

A gradual uphill walk with less stairs and wooden bridges and little steep on the side of Modi khola you will come to Deurali.

Day 9 : Trek from Deurali (3200m) passing Machhapuchre Base Camp (3700m) to Annapurna Base Camp (4130m) 6 hrs

Easy trek day as you walk up hill leaving the valley behind. First you will walk up to MBC (Machhapuchre  Base Camp) from where you can see the 3600 view of High Mountains like Mt. Annapurna (south), Mt. Annapurna I, Mt. Hiunchuli and Mt. Fishtail. You will trek up with the view of mountains till you reach the final destination i:e ABC (Annapurna Base Camp).

Day 10 : Trek down from Annapurna Base Camp (4130m) to Bamboo (2310m) – (6.5 hrs)

You will experience the golden sunrise view of the Annapurna Peaks as the Sun will come out then after your breakfast start your downhill trek to Bamboo passing the same route via MBC. You will see some of the waterfalls along the way.

Day 11 : Continue from Bamboo (2310m) to Jhinu Danda (1760m) – (5 hrs)

Five hours of walk some steep and some easy ascends and descends will bring you down to Jhinu Danda through passing Chomrong and Sinuwa villages.

Day 12 : Trek from Jhinu Danda (1760m) to Sihuwai. Then drive from Sihuwai to Pokhara.- (4 hrs trek & 2 hrs drive)

Final day of your trek you will walk for about four hours to reach Sihuwai from where vehicle will take you to Pokhara. After checking in to hotel you are free to relax yourself around Lakeside Street in any bar, pub or restaurant.

Day 13 : Return to Kathmandu from Pokhara by land – (6 hrs drive)

After your breakfast you will be driving back to Kathmandu. It will take around 6 hours.
Either you can choose to relax in hotel or discover the capital city as its your last day in Nepal.

Day 14 : Departure
